MARCH/APRIL 2006
Hi Again!
Well Folks! It's been a busy time of late. I was in Los Angeles for the month of February on some business as well as seeing to the DVD release of my movie "Fronterz". It is now at blockbuster and other video chains, so go rent or buy it :)
Right now I'm going between Halifax and Toronto a lot. I'm in the middle of filming two projects simultaneously. In Halifax I'm shooting a project called "North/South." It centers on four families involved in the construction business. My character is named "Eddie Colley" and he works in a blue collar family business but is the first in the family to go to law school.
I'm shooting a pilot for CBS called "Ultra" which is based on the comic book of the same name. It centers on a woman who discovers she has super human powers and how she copes with that and being single in New York city. My character is named "Buddy Masterson" and I'm the power agent to the super hero "Ultra." If it is picked up, it will start to air this fall.
On a personal note: my brother actor Viv Leacock who you may know as playing my brother on "DOC" or from the Eddie Murphy movie "I Spy" will be having a baby with his wife Divina at the end of May. The family is looking forward to the joyous occasion.
That's it for now. Hope you're all doing well! Take care of yourselves and keep checking me out.

OCTOBER 2005
Hey folks!
Just thought I would finally give you an update on what's been happening with me. In July I shot an episode of a tv series called "The Dead Zone." I guest starred as a man trying to save his ex girlfriend from her abusive husband. I shot it in Vancouver and got to visit with my family while I was there. It was a pretty physical role as you'll see if you check it out. The show airs on the the "USA network" in the states and on the Space channel in Canada. If you're sttateside check the network's website at www.usanetwork.com.
I recently just shot a tv movie for the "Sci-Fi" network called "Earth Storm" which stars Stephen Baldwin. In that I play a demolitions expert named "Oliver" who works with Stephen Baldwin's character "John Redding." It's an action show in which the world has to be saved. That's all I'm allowed to tell you unfortunately. I'm sure this will air on the "Space channel in canada but check your local listings anyway.
Finally the movie I produced some time ago called "Fronterz" will come to the light on DVD on Feb 14th 2006. If your not in the mood for a romantic film on Valentine's day then definitely rent or buy this comedy as your alternative.
I'll try to keep everyone informed with more regular postings in the "What's New" column.
Stay Tuned!

JUNE 2004
Hey "DOC" fans!
Just wanted to drop you all a note to say thank you for always being in our corner and also being such devoted fans of the show. Without any of you we would not have had the opportunity to work on such a special program. I have truly enjoyed my time with my cast mates and crew as well as meeting some of you fans on the street, Fan Fair, on set, etc... You have always been kind to us and for that I thank you.
I hope you enjoyed our fourth season and there will be some new episodes coming your way sometime in the future. In my time on this show my life has been forever changed by many different events. There are things that we all go through such as marriage, pregnancy, personal growth and maturity. I couldn't list all of the things that have affected my life during this time because there are too many to name.

I did make some life long friends on "DOC" and that is worth more than gold. Follow us now as we go off into different endeavors but keep us in your mind and hearts, as I will think of all of you. Thank you again for your support over the last four years and all the best.
Take Care,
Richard "Nate" Leacock

Hey all! We here at the "DOC" set have been very busy bringing you the fourth season of the show out here in Toronto.
It's really starting to get cold out here for us folks originally from the west coast but we're braving the elements to bring you quality television every week.
We recently had "Tyler Garcia Posey" back on the show playing "Raul". We were really happy to have him back with us after such a long hiatus. He and I picked up where we left off like he was never gone. I think you'll love the new episode which is entitled "Breaking Away".

I've been working on a film that I'm one of the executive producers on called "Fronterz." It's the story of three classically trained actors who get tired of losing roles to rappers so they become rappers to get acting jobs. It's a comedy, of course, and we have some big name talent in tha cast as well. You'll just have to wait around to get the full scoop on it!
